Case Study
Ahmed and Nabila are having 5 children and all of them need family support through the state child protection service. All the children over the ages of 11 months to 1 year are being left at home and are physically neglected. So, by recalling and viewing all such things neighbors managed to look up and contact child protection. There were observed by the beachboys that Ahmed left the school for a longer period and Nabila has so many bruises on her face and arms.
The family is drawn as refugees and are certain minorities who are involved in religious and political persecution. Ahmed was in jail for several months due to being engaged in a protest and was tortured to an extent. So, with the help of their neighbor Nabila Ahmed and their 5 children fled from Indonesia to Australia. They stayed in detention where Ahmed was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Nabila with depression. The family has be4iong underwent a patriarchal community and was submerged in wives and children to all the males and the household.
