Scenario
After several years of working for Visit Cornwall, a head hunter has contacted you to work for a national tourism board. You are not the only person they contacted and because of the sensitive nature of the position, the head hunter has not disclosed the region yet.
Task 1 of 4
Instructions:
The head hunter has been tasked to hire the best candidate and you will need to prove your worth. As part as your application you've been asked to write a paper in which you must:
- Explain the history of tourism
- Evaluate different approaches uses in tourism policy.
- Use one destination as an example, and list the institution involved in tourism development at the global, National and local scale.

Task 2 of 4
Instructions:
Prepare a presentation.
- Review theoretical approach to understanding international development.
- Select 4+ countries that are currently classified by the IMF as â emerging marketing and development economiesâ and implement a theoretical approach to international development and analyze the 4+ countries.
- Based on the analysis, review the usefulness of the theoretical approach.

- Create plans for a tourism project that addresses the issue.
