Introduction
Project Quality In Association To Project Cost Management
Quality in a project is defined as the product or service that possess an ability to perform in a well defined manner so that goals and objectives that are targeted in the process of planning is achieved. A project quality has the ability to provide a good and service suitable for the intended purpose. A product is well build and is great with utilisation but is not suitable to a purpose for which it was build then it will not be a suitable product. The product will not be termed as a quality product that results as per plans (Ingason, 2015). To ensure the quality product planning must define the quality, all the actions must commit to quality and then stick to project requirement and manage the quality required.
In this project St. Dismas Medical Centre an urban, non-profit, rehabilitation hospital is initiating with a project through which fewer people who are injured due to seat belts and helmets will be treated in priority basis. In relation to this project planning is done and initiatives are made to accomplish at the end of the project. The first short run initiative is to become cost effective in delivering services. Second long-run initiative is to provide services that enhance quality of existing services. When both the initiatives will be achieved in plan manner then it will be termed that quality is achieved for the project. To Get essay help form our Experts!
In the process of project quality management following tools are used-
Cause-and-effect diagram: A cause-and-effect digram is prepared which is in shape of fish skeleton and any effect on bone of a fish will lead to effect head. Small effects that gives effect needs to be identified so that no hindrance can be made in the process of quality management (Papke-Shields and Boyer-Wright, 2017).
Flowcharts: They reflects the logical manner through which each activity needs to be performed. Through this potential problems in the process of quality management is analysed. Elaborating each activities in more accurate and logical manner helps in achieving target to maximise quality in the process of achieving goals and objectives. For example a well defined project plan is prepared by COO in which each activity to accomplish the project and time duration required for that activity is mentioned. This plan will help St. Dismas Medical Centre to achieve quality in the project to be accomplished (Samset and Volden, 2016).
As per the current market conditions, quality is the key that leads to sustaining each organisation while competing with others. When a new project is initiated by St. Dismas Medical Centre then cost must be considered because project cost is affected by poor quality. Non-availability of appropriate funds will not allow to acquire of goods and services that are required to maintain quality as per plans. This will also leads to reopening of the project and cost will increase. When services that are developed for the future by St. Dismas Medical Centre is not as per the quality planned due to non-availability of funds then sales will not be made and all project will get shattered. For example monitoring of the project is not done properly due to the non-availability of appropriate staff because of high cost then it may negatively affect the quality of the hospital project.

According to elaboration of quality and project cost management he explains that these two terms while initiating a project work simultaneously. It is important to understand the concept of quality management and how important it is to conduct an operation and interpret all the activities in efficient manner. While accomplishing a project process quality and product quality must be maintained in the project (Shirley, 2016).
Conclusion
In the process of assessing tools and techniques of quality management, I have identified that establishing a cause-and-effect diagram among activities of the project and a flowchart is important so that each activity can be accomplished as per plans. St. Dismas Medical Centre in the process of managing quality must consider the project cost as the allocation of finances helps in accomplishing the targets of the project. In this project, focus is made on quality and making all the activities cost-effective so that sustainability can be enjoyed in the market. When tools and techniques in the project will be implemented effectively then I can access that not only the construction but also software development for the project will become highly profitable.
